Why do I need to take B12?

As vitamin B12 cannot be found in plant foods it is an essential supplement for anyone following a vegan or vegetarian diet. B12 helps your body form red blood cells and prevent anaemia; increases energy levels; and supports healthy brain function.

B12 is a naturally occurring microbe that would have been found in soil. Unfortunately due to poor farming practices, B12 is almost entirely gone from the natural world so we have to supplement it. Even farmed animals are supplemented with B12.
