ALL-IN-ONE MEAL
Updated by Kat Hoyle
All-In-One is a nutritionally packed super shake that we created to help fuel busier days when time is pressed. We wanted to create a shake that had an intentional micronutrient profile as well as a macro nutrient profile, removing the fuss out of creating a nutrient rich smoothie. Just one scoop of All-In-One contains around 30% of your daily needs of over 20 essential micro-nutrients alongside protein (full amino acid profile), carbohydrates, and essential fats. All-In-One comes in 3 flavors: Caramel biscuit, Vanilla, and Strawberry. As with all our products, no expense was spared to ensure the superiority of ingredients and rigorousness of testing. Find out more about our testing here.
Here at VIVO we believe there is no nutritional substitute for real food, and that we should all do our upmost to get the bulk of our nutritional needs from a varied diet of whole foods. But we understand that sometimes time is short, and we wanted to create a product that could be added to smoothies and meals to optimize the nutritional value and cover the bases for a lot of essential nutrients. We felt that All-In-One would mostly be used at breakfast or lunchtime, and the 30% value is reflective of these two meals independently usually amounting to around 30% of total daily food intake, therefore a scoop should cover around 30% of micronutrient daily needs.
All-In-One’s macro nutrient profile is more balanced than that of Perform (which is a sports performance focused powder and focusses on protein). All-In-One differs in that it is more general wellness focused and provides a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Each serving contains 20g protein, 3.6g of carbohydrates and 4.6g of healthy fats, this balance was intentionally designed to emulate the optimal macro profile of a balanced meal, making All-In-One the perfect companion to fruit smoothies, breakfast oats or even baking. We kept the carbohydrate value lower, because of the likelihood of Whole being added to a carb rich smoothie or meal. All-In-One provides a complete amino acid profile via its blend of bio-fermented pea protein, cold-pressed hemp protein and quinoa protein.
Unlike Perform, All-In-One has an intentional micronutrient profile (Perform still of course contains micronutrients due to it whole food ingredients, however it is a macro focused product). All-In-One is designed to cover 30% of daily micronutrient needs for a large spectrum of around 18 nutrients. It does not contain absolutely everything because we wanted to keep the product affordable and not drive up the cost, however it contains a lot of the essential nutrients that best support a plant-based diet. The nutrient profile comes from the whole food ingredients used, as well as an innovative nutrient infused buckwheat blend. We create this by way of adding nutrients with buckwheat seeds before germinating them, during germination the added nutrients pass into the cells of the buckwheat sprout, the nutrient infused sprouts are then harvested, dried and powdered. This nutrient infusion process allows us to pack more nutrients into the product relative to surface area.
As well as the buckwheat multi-nutrient blend All-In-One contains lots of whole foods that contribute to the nutrient profile.

Let’s take a further look at what’s inside. Our formula is protected so we of course cannot disclose exact amounts of all the ingredients. All the “functional ingredients", meaning the ingredients present with a clear purpose of benefitting health (and not just flavor) are there at a functional amount. This means the ingredient is present in an amount that the body can put to good use and benefit from. Click each ingredient in the chart to learn more. Some ingredients are only in certain flavors and amounts may vary slightly flavor dependent.

Frequently Asked Questions.
- Is All-In-One a meal replacement?
All-In-One is not a meal replacement on its own, at only around 150 calories per serving (flavour dependent) of powder it does not have enough calories to equate to a meal. However, with a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile it makes a great base on which to create a delicious, nutritious, high calorie shake! Here at VIVO we believe there is no substitute for real food, so if you are on the go and wish to make a quick breakfast smoothie All-In-One is a sure way to ensure that smoothie is covering you for your protein, carbs, fats and micro nutrient needs. We recommend adding it into a smoothie with bananas, oats, nut butter and any of your other favourite fruit like berries and plant milk to create a nutrient and calorie dense shake that is going to help fuel your days.
- What is the difference between All-In-One and Perform?
Our original protein powder Perform was designed with sports performance in mind. The superfood formula uses plants and herbs that are known for excelling performance and recovery from exercise. Perform does not focus on micro nutrients (although some are naturally present due to the whole food ingredients). All-In-One has the blend of plant based proteins and then some. It has a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile so is more of an all-rounder shake. It will definitely still benefit sports people/gym goers, however it is also great for those who are wanting to simplify their supplements and have an easy, convenient way to level up their smoothies nutrient wise! All-In-One is for everyone!
- Will All-In-One break my fast?
Yes, All-In-One will break your fast. It has a balanced macro profile of protein, carbs and fat plus micro nutrients so it will kick you out of a fasted state.
- Can I take All-In-One while working out?
All-In-One has a balanced profile of carbs, protein and fat plus micro nutrients, so it is definitely going to help you fuel and recover from your workouts. However if you are looking for a more specialised sports performance protein we would recommend our product Perform. We would not recommend drinking either product actually during your workout. If you are looking for a pre-during workout drink we would recommend our EAA drink Intra-Workout.
- Does All-In-One have vitamins and minerals, if so which ones?
All-In-One has a balanced macro and micro nutrient profile. As well as carbohydrates, fats and protein balance All-In-One also contains the following nutrients; Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, B9, B12, D3, C, K, selenium, zinc and copper. You can find more information on the nutritional information tab of the product page here.
- How many calories does All-In-One have?
All-In-One on its own is around 150 calories (varies slightly flavour dependent) per scoop of powder so it is a great base for a super nutritious smoothie. We recommend adding it into a smoothie with bananas, oats, nut butter and any of your other favourite fruit like berries and plant milk to create a nutrient and calorie dense shake that is going to help fuel your days.
- Can I take All-In-One when I am NOT working out?
All-In-One is a great “all-rounder” nutritional shake and is not just for gym goers and sports people! It has a blend of plant based proteins and then some. It has a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile so is more of an all-rounder shake. It will definitely still benefit sports people/gym goers, however it is also great for those who are wanting to simplify their supplements and have an easy, convenient way to level up their smoothies nutrient wise! All-In-One is for everyone.
- How many servings does All-In-One have and what flavours does it come in?
All-In-One has 25 servings per pouch and it comes in 3 flavours, strawberry, vanilla and caramel biscuit.
- What are the sources of protein of All-In-One?
The protein in All-In-One is a carefully balanced blend of Bio fermented pea protein, cold pressed hemp and quinoa protein. This formula created a balanced amino acid profile, while being highly bioavailable and easy on the digestive tract.
- Is All-In-One a mass gainer?
All-In-One is not a mass gainer, at only around 150 calories per serving (flavour dependent) of powder it does not have enough calories to equate to a calorie dense meal on its own. However, with a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile it makes a great base on which to create a delicious, nutritious, high calorie shake! If you are wanting to gain mass adding a high calorie shake with All-In-One as the base to your daily routine can be beneficial! We recommend adding it into a smoothie with bananas, oats, nut butter and any of your other favourite fruit like berries and plant milk to create a nutrient and calorie dense shake that is going to help fuel your days.
- Are the nutrients in All-In-One naturally derived?
The majority of the vitamins and minerals found in All-In-One come from whole food natural sources. Research shows that nutrients in their whole food natural form are more bioavailable than their synthesized counterparts. We use a buckwheat vitamin and mineral base. The vitamins and minerals are infused into the buckwheat seeds and the buckwheat becomes a growth medium, the seeds are then germinated and then the nutrient infused buckwheat is blended into a powder. We use magnesium from Irish sea water and calcium is algae derived. The Vitamin D3 is also from algae and the plant based K2 is derived from soy, however the fermentation process it undergoes means no soy is present in the finished product. The Vitamin C is from Acerola cherry which is the most potent natural source of vitamin C on the planet. The carbohydrates come from the vegetable blend and the fats from MCT oil, hemp and flax. The protein is a blend of bio-fermented pea, cold pressed hemp and quinoa protein. The only vitamin that is not naturally derived is B12, as it is unfortunately not possible to source natural B12 due to over farming almost obliterating it from nature. Our B12 is synthesized and is in the most bioavailable form of Methylcobalamin.
- What is the Omega content of All-In-One?
All-In-One does contain Omegas due to the flax and hemp content. There is a well balanced ratio of omega 3 ALA, omega 6 and 9. Our bodies are unfortunately not amazing at converting ALA to EPA and DHA themselves so we do not recommend relying on WHOLE solely for your Omega supplementation, but it certainly will contribute to your daily fatty acid needs. If you are in need of an Omega 3 supplement we have one in our liquids range!
- Can I replace Supergreens with All-In-One?
The micronutrient profile of All-In-One is not as complete as Supergreens. Some of the nutrients in All-In-One are only present at 30% of the recommended daily amount (RDA). This is because All-In-One is designed to be a base to add to a nutritious smoothie and is not meant to cover you for your entire RDA of each mineral. All-In-One also does not contain all the nutrients that Supergreens does! Supergreens was designed to be more of a “cover all bases” blend as it has a larger % of your RDA for a lot of the essential vitamins and minerals! The two products if both incorporated into your daily routine would be an amazing addition to your whole foods plant based diet!
- Does All-In-One cover all my nutrient needs?
All-In-One does not cover 100% of your daily nutrient needs, just like one meal would not cover all your daily needs, but it is a great support to contribute towards your daily nutrient requirements. By adding All-In-One to nutritionally dense smoothies in combination with your whole foods plant based diet you should be well on the way to cover all your nutrient needs!
- Where does the B12 come from in All-In-One?
Our B12 is synthesized and is in the most bioavailable form of Methylcobalamin, unfortunately it is not possible to source natural B12 due to over farming almost obliterating it from nature.
- Does All-In-One cover my daily probiotics needs?
All-In-One contains 5 billions live cultures per serving. This will contribute towards your daily probiotic needs, but it is not designed to replace your probiotic supplement. As All-In-One can be used to create a healthy nutritional shake, we wanted to mimic the natural probiotic content that you would get from eating fruits and vegetables. It is not the main focus of the product however so we recommend keeping up with your regular probiotic supplement. If you do not use a probiotic supplement yet you may wish to check out our living multi nutrient powder Supergreens as that also contains live cultures to contribute towards your daily probiotic requirements.
- Does All-In-One need to be kept in the fridge (due to probiotics)?
If you wish, it is no problem to keep All-In-One in the fridge. With probiotics there is always an unavoidable element of steady die off with the live cultures however keeping All-In-One in the fridge will definitely help to keep the probiotic levels more stable! If you cannot keep All-In-One in the fridge or have to travel with it for instance, it is not a huge problem and the nutrient density will not be affected much at all.
- Does All-In-One contain the same protein used in Perform and Vegan Protein?
We use the same bio-fermented pea, cold pressed hemp and pumpkin protein as we use in our other protein powders!
- Is All-In-One safe for athletes?
We use the same high quality ingredients in All-In-One that we used for all our products! The same stringent testing is applied. The ingredients are tested at source for contaminants, pesticides, herbicides and heavy metals, we then create the products and then the finished product is third party tested again for the same contaminants, pesticides, herbicides and heavy metals. We were once anonymously tested by world renowned independent testing organisation LabDoor, who are WADA (world anti doping agency) affiliated. They rated us in the top 10 most accurate and pure protein supplements on the market, and we were the only plant based company in that list.
- What is the difference between All-In-One and Vegan Protein?
All-In-One is a protein powder that has added nutrients. With a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile it makes a great base on which to create a delicious, nutritious, high calorie shake! It’s great for if you are on the go and need to make a quick nutritious smoothie. Vegan Protein is just pure protein and flavouring. It does not have all the added micro nutrients or probiotics. It is a far simpler protein and you would need to add additional supplements to make a nutritionally balanced shake with it. Both are great, versatile products but if you are looking for a more well-rounded powder that you don’t need to add additional nutrient powders to, All-In-One is a great choice.
- What is the difference between All-In-One and Supergreens?
Supergreens is a greens powder that has a large % of your essential nutrients per serving. It does not have a macronutrient (carbs/protein/fats)profile other than the trace amounts present from the whole food ingredients. Supergreens was designed to be more of a “cover all bases” blend as it has a larder % of your RDA for a lot of the essential vitamins and minerals! The two products if both incorporated into your daily routine would be an amazing addition to your whole foods plant based diet!
- Does All-In-One contain iodine?
All-In-One does not contain iodine. Iodine is a nutrient that different people have different and sometimes quite specific requirements for, so we did not want to include it in an “all-rounder” nutrient powder. We wanted as many people to be able to use All-In-One as possible, so we left iodine out so customers have the freedom to tailor their iodine dosage to their own personal needs by supplementing separately.
- Does All-In-One contain selenium?
All-In-One does contain selenium. It is naturally present due to the cold pressed hemp protein content!
- Why are some of the minerals in All-In-One only at 30% RDA?
All-In-One is designed to be a great base for a nutritionally dense smoothie. It does not contain every essential nutrient however it has got your back for a lot of them! The reason some are only present at 30% is because All-In-One is designed to fit in with your whole foods plant based diet from which you will make up the remainder of this % nutrients. In combination with whole, nutritious foods (and maybe even some of our other products like Supergreens) you will be able to obtain most of your essential nutrients daily quite easily. The minimum requirement for a nutrient to be in a product at a functional dose is 30% so that will always be the absolute minimum a nutrient is present. We recommend adding All-In-One into a smoothie with bananas, oats, nut butter and any of your other favourite fruit like berries and plant milk to create a nutrient and calorie dense shake that is going to help fuel your days.
- Why does the label of All-In-One say it is a meal replacement?
All-In-One is not a meal replacement on its own without being added to a smoothie, at only around 150 calories per serving (flavour dependent) of powder it does not have enough calories to equate to a meal with just the powder. However, with a balanced macro/micro nutrient profile it makes a great base on which to create a delicious, nutritious, high calorie shake! We appreciate this is confusing as it states that is a meal replacement on the label, however this is purely due to legislation reasons and by law the government requires it to be classed as a meal replacement. Here at VIVO we have very different ideas about what constitutes a meal however! We absolutely do not recommend skipping meals and replacing them with a low calorie powder by itself. We believe there is no substitute for real food and All-In-One should be used in conjunction with a balanced whole foods healthy diet. We recommend adding All-In-One into a smoothie with bananas, oats, nut butter and any of your other favourite fruit like berries and plant milk to create a nutrient and calorie dense shake that is going to help fuel your days.
